Drone Detection and Defense Systems: Electro-Optical Tracking

by Admin
news 1 min read

The widespread commercial and military use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) has created a new class of threats for critical infrastructures. The combination of radar-based detection and electro-optical (EO) tracking resolves the false alarm issues experienced by standalone radar systems when detecting small, low-altitude drone targets.

In the integrated C-UAS solutions provided by TLY Enerji, the combination of RF sensors, radar, and EO/IR systems classifies threats and provides visual confirmation to the operator. Within the selected Rules of Engagement (ROE), the user can decide to apply jamming, spoofing, or physical countermeasures.

Thanks to ITAR-compliant component selection and local software integration, the solution is delivered to the customer without export restrictions.
